Betty June is the member of the St. Louis Fetal Care Institute nursing team who coordinates research projects and the data management of all of our FCI patients. She is responsible for reviewing medical records and collecting information that helps guide patient care and research.
Coming from a research perspective, Betty stresses the importance of families providing as much information to the Fetal Care Institute team as possible so the family has the details they need to make the best decisions for their unborn baby.
Betty holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Kentucky and is working toward her Masters of Science in Clinical Research Management. She has served in a variety of nursing roles in her career including work in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit), on the transport team, and teaching CPR, first-aid and other health care courses throughout the community. Betty is a member of the National Association of Neonatal Nurses (NANN).
“I love working at the Fetal Care Institute because it allows me to use all the skills I have developed and used over my many years as a nurse; management, technology, neonatal, and teaching health care,” says Betty.
Betty and her husband have three adult children and she enjoys fabric arts, photography, and technology.
