Ice cream cupcakes make
tasty treats

Ice cream cupcakes make a fun treat for your next birthday party! They’re easy to make, and a lot less messy than traditional cupcakes.

cake mix - 1 (18-½ oz.) box of your favorite
ice cream cones - 1 (25-count) box of flat-bottomed
icing - 1 can of your favorite
sprinkles

Instructions:

  1. Prepare cake batter according to directions on box.
  2. Fill cones ¾ full with batter. To bake, place cones in muffin tins to prevent them from toppling. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
  3. Remove from oven and let cool.
  4. Decorate the tops with your favorite icing and sprinkles.
Here are some tips for kids who like to help out in the kitchen:
  1. Always ask an adult if you can use the kitchen.
  2. Make sure you have all the ingredients before you start.
  3. Wash your hands before you touch food, for at least 25 seconds (count by saying your ABCs).
  4. Wear an apron or towel to keep your clothes clean.
