Improving outcomes for moms and babies in Southern Illinois

SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital and SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital, in conjunction with the Saint Louis University School of Medicine, serve as the designated Administrative Perinatal Center for the Southern Illinois Perinatal Network, part of the state of Illinois Regionalized Perinatal System.

The Southern Illinois Perinatal Program serves 15 hospitals and 2 children's hospitals that provide perinatal care, 22 non-maternity hospitals and 29 health departments in 32 counties in Southern Illinois.

Our goal is to improve outcomes for pregnant women and their babies through education and quality improvement activities.
