We accept applications from adults and high school or college students.
Whether it is working directly with children in the playrooms or helping deliver the day’s mail, our volunteers work in various capacities throughout the hospital to support the full-time staff.
How do I become a volunteer?
For more information on becoming a volunteer at Cardinal Glennon, please call the Volunteer Office at (314) 577-5696, or submit an online application.
The volunteer office is open Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM. If you call during off hours, please leave your name and phone number, and we will return your phone call. When leaving a message, please indicate your availability and interests.
Applicants must complete and return Cardinal Glennon’s volunteer application, interview with the volunteer director, attend orientation, submit two references, and meet hospital medical requirements, which include a two-step tuberculin skin test. Background checks are required for all volunteers.
