For infection control reasons, and in accordance with federal HIPPA patient privacy regulations, tours or patient visitation by groups from the community are generally not allowed. Exceptions may be made in cases when a patient directly benefits from the special visitor (ex: celebrities, athletes and organizations providing patient activities or entertainment only in certain designated areas of the hospital).
