CME Credit Overview

The Physician Services Department at SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center provides online CME presentations for physicians.

Presentations are only approved for 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit ^TM for up to one year after the posting date. To earn credit, the online post test and evaluation must be completed. Use the link button above the presenter video to find the test link. Upon successful registration and completion of the post test and evaluation, a certificate is generated to the email address provided during registration. Physician Services and the Saint Louis University CME office also track credits electronically. The estimated time to complete each activity is 1.0 hour(s).

Saint Louis University School of Medicine follows the ACCME policy on Validation of Content for CME activities which require that:

• All recommendations involving clinical medicine must be based on evidence that is accepted within the profession of medicine as adequate justification for their indications and contraindications in the care of patients.
• All scientific research referred to, reported or used in CME in support or justification of a patient care recommendation must conform to the generally accepted standards of experimental design, data collection and analysis.

All presenters have signed a presentation materials acceptance and release agreement allowing their presentation and the content to be viewed online. Presenters are also required to verify that the necessary steps have been taken to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality.

Disclosure information for all the presenter and planning members is listed next to each video presentation along with commercial support information.

It is the policy of Saint Louis University School of Medicine to insure balance, independence, objectivity and scientific rigor in its continuing medical education program. Faculty and planning committee members participating in these activities are required to disclose to the audiences prior to the activity the following:

1. The existence of any significant financial or other relationship with the manufacturer of any commercial product or provider of any commercial service discussed.
