Cardinal Glennon nurses have such a unique opportunity to touch the hearts of the families they serve. For a family trying to understand what is happening with their child, there is no greater comfort than a caring nurse who reassures them and makes their child smile and laugh.
To acknowledge the special nurses of Cardinal Glennon, four new categories have been added to the Nancy Fedak Ross, RN, Exceptional Nurses Award. The Nancy Ross Award Exceptional Nurses has been given out for the past five years to nurses who have undertaken significant projects to make their patients’ lives better.
On May 10, awards will be given out for Community Service Nurse of the Year, Leader of the Year, Mentor of the Year and Rookie of the Year.
