Nationally ranked care. Another way our love for kids just keeps on growing.

The division of pediatric dermatology at SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center is seeking volunteers to sew pajamas for children with the most sensitive skin.

Atopic Dermatitis, better known as Eczema, can be irritated or worsened by any kind of dyes or synthetic fabric. To help soothe the skin of these patients during their hospital stay, we are looking for volunteers to sew plain, white 100 percent cotton knit pajamas in all sizes – infant to teen-agers.

Pajamas must be long sleeve and long pants, made of pure 100 percent white cotton knit, with a soft drawstring and outside or smooth finished seams and snug cuffs at the wrists and ankles. Please do not use any colors, dyes, elastic, snaps or buttons, as these can irritate skin.

If you are able to help with this special project to comfort patients, please call the Division of Pediatric Dermatology at (314) 268-2700, ext. 3457, and ask for Gracie.
