The Division of Pediatric Rheumatology at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of children and teens with autoimmune diseases. Our SLUCare Physician Group rheumatologists also see patients in offices throughout the region. Our Research

Our division conducts extensive research with a focus on immunological studies in JIA, SLE, and CTD. We have published over 200 papers on JIA, SLE, etc. and have presented over 230 abstracts at National Meetings. Our research specializes in JIA, SLE, and Innate/Adaptive Immunity with biomarker studies in JIA. Our Pediatric Rheumatology clinic is the largest in the state of Missouri and was the first established in the state in 1968. It is also the largest in the United States.
