Welcome to the Pediatric Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Department at SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center.
We Are Here to Help
We are committed to finding the best possible solution to your child's individual needs. Our team consists of two plastic surgeons, Dr. Alexander Y. Lin and Dr. Christina Plikaitis, and our clinical nurse coordinator, Debbie Watters.
The goal of pediatric plastic surgery is to improve the unique human elements of the child: to look more normal, to have more normal speech, and to be able to function more normally in their growth and development.
We understand the physical and psychological impact of these conditions on children and their families. Our doctors, nurses and staff work together to take a personalized approach to the treatment of your child and provide information and guidance each step of the way.
Our team is dedicated to providing you the best care for your child's individual needs. Safety, while striving to achieve the best possible outcomes, is our priority.
It is important for parents to understand their child's condition as completely as possible. Communicating with parents and children in a clear-cut and understandable way is an essential part of our mission.
Together, our goal is to improve both the physical and emotional well-being of children and their families as they grow together.
