The Clinical Laboratory at Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center provides routine and emergency testing for patients on an inpatient and outpatient basis. The laboratory also provides testing services for non-patients referred by community care providers. Total activity includes approximately 855,000 units/tests each year.

Our Services

Services are available seven days a week, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The laboratories include an accredited staff, including nationally recognized pediatric pathologists, certified clinical laboratory scientists and medical laboratory technologists. Our team provides a broad range of tests for your child:

The Laboratory holds a valid Health Care Facilities Accreditation (HCFA) Certificate of Accreditation and is accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP). The Blood Bank is registered with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and accredited by the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB). The Stem Cell Laboratory is accredited by FACT.
