About Us:
The NICU Parent-to-Parent Group is made up of moms and dads who have spent time with their babies in the NICU at Cardinal Glennon. These parents have experienced the uncertainty that comes with having a baby in hospital.
Even knowing that your baby is in capable and experienced hands doesn’t make the anxiety and fear go away. The members of the Parent-to-Parent Group know that anxiety and fear. They also know the joy that comes with hugging their nurses good-bye and bringing their baby home for the first time.
Members of the support group are available to talk to you about your worries and concerns and offer compassionate support as you guide your family through this experience.
To request support from one of our Parent-to-Parent members, call (314) 678-2160 and leave a message. Or you can email us at NICUParent2Parent@gmail.com.
Our Mission Statement:
Established in November of 2004, Parent-to-Parent is a volunteer group of parents who have had the privilege of having a child in Cardinal Glennon’s NICU.
This group strives to enrich families' experiences during and after their stay in the NICU by sharing and listening to similar experiences from a NICU parent's point of view.
