Advocacy for the needs of all children, but particularly for the underserved, is a major focus of General Academic Pediatrics. Our physicians see patients in the Danis Pediatric Center at SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center.
Advocacy
Members of our staff are actively involved in the State of Missouri Child Abuse and Neglect Review Board, Catholic Charities, Special School District, Head/Start and International Adoption Medicine Consultation Services through the F.A.C.E.S. Program.

Medical Education and Research
General Academic Pediatrics provides education to students at all levels of pediatric education, from Physician Assistant (PA) and medical students to residents and community physicians. Our physicians are involved in a broad array of research projects, collaborating with researchers from many disciplines within Saint Louis University and from other institutions.
