Welcome to the Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Department at SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center.
The Critical Care Medicine Department is on call 24 hours a day to provide Level 1 trauma care to seriously ill patients and improve the care of future patients through education and research efforts.

Our team provides care in several areas of the hospital:
Our role in the PICU centers around state-of-the-art respiratory and heart pressure/flow management of critically ill children. We are also involved in the care of children recovering from complex heart procedures and organ transplants.
