Larry Dallas grew up in South St. Louis, and often spent summers with his aunt and uncle on their farm in Ozora in southern Missouri. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II.
After the war, Larry worked in St. Louis for nearly 20 years in sales and married his beloved wife, Dorothy Hennessy.
Larry and Dorothy were never parents themselves, but have always cared deeply about children. Dorothy passed away in 2002, and Larry requested that the couple’s legacy support a pediatric cardiac care center in memory of Dorothy Hennessy Dallas.
"This gift will honor the love of my dear wife and her big heart for children," Larry Dallas said. "This will give some kids a chance."
